Reilly WoodWorks, formerly Michael Reilly Design, had modest beginnings 21 years ago in a former chicken coop in Watermill, New York. Michael Reilly, after training to be an architect, began his woodworking career designing and building furniture.
With an architect's sensibility and an appreciation for fine woodworking, Michael sought other woodworkers with the same understanding of quality and workmanship. From the very beginning, the company's fine reputation has grown from the beauty and superiority of our final product.
Soon the company was supplying architectural millwork, custom wood windows, doors, and cabinetry to high end residential construction projects. A move to a larger space in Bridgehampton, NY was necessary to respond to a growing demand.
TODAY
Today operating out of 125,000 square foot facility in Calverton, Long Island, Reilly WoodWorks employs 115 individuals including project managers, engineers, draftsmen, woodworkers, cabinetmakers, and administrative staff.
Our shop has successfully combined the unyielding standards of our master craftsmen with the accuracy and capacity for volume possible with computerized woodworking equipment. In addition to making the shop safer, this unique combination of resources allows us to produce in quantities that can fill the needs of any large project.
However, sophisticated machinery can only assist in the process. The eye and careful hand of highly trained individuals remain are our lifeblood.
